Job summary

Bayer Crop Science in Missouri (Chesterfield) seeks an Entry Electrical Engineer to design, plan, and hand over electrical work packages for capital and facility projects in Seeds Supply and Seeds Breeding, under senior guidance.

You will learn electrical power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (will accept Dec 2026 or May 2027 graduates)
• Basic understanding of electrical power distribution and motor controls
• Exposure to PLCs or industrial control systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reading schematics/technical specs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute, document, commission and hand over electrical work packages
• Develop electrical and process-control designs for facility projects
• Support design of low- and medium-voltage distribution systems
• Prepare cost estimates, specs, reports, requisitions and bid packages
• Review vendor drawings and assist procurement of electrical equipment
• Support PLC-based control system design and field devices
• Participate in inspections, commissioning, startup, and testing
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors and stakeholders on safety and compliance
