Job summary

Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. seeks electrical engineers to support power plant upgrades and new projects under the supervision of senior staff. You will assist with calculations, modifications, and designs to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.

Required BS in electrical engineering (ABET), knowledge of electrical distribution systems, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel to client sites, field work, and ability to pass security and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Experience with electrical power distribution systems and familiarity with load flow, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calculations, modifications, and designs for power plant upgrades or new projects.
• Work with senior engineers to evaluate conditions and propose design changes to improve performance, safety, and reliability.
