Job summary

CRB Group seeks an Electrical Engineer I to join our Irvine, CA team. You will assist in designing electrical systems, performing basic calculations, and coordinating with architects and engineers to deliver constructible designs.

You will work under supervision on projects from studies through construction documentation, with opportunities to perform field investigations and client interfacing as you grow. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in a design firm preferred.
• FE exam registration or completion preferred.
• Fundamental experience with electrical lighting, power, and special systems design.
• Able to interface with client and external partners.
• Willingness to travel for client development and project execution.

Responsibilities

• The Electrical Engineer I is responsible for basic layout of electrical systems per code and in coordination with other disciplines.
• Conducts basic field investigations to integrate the design with existing systems and structures.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure a coordinated, constructible design.
• Works on matters of basic complexity in a support role under supervision of more experienced Electrical Engineers.
• Self-checks one’s own work.
• Projects may include studies, design development, and construction documentation.
