Job summary
Milbank Mfg Company in Kansas City, MO is seeking an electrical/electronic engineer to contribute to microcontroller-based product development. You will participate in design, schematic capture, PCB layouts, and system-level reviews, working across disciplines to deliver robust, high‑voltage interfaces.
The role requires a BS in computer or electrical engineering and hands-on experience with MSP430 or AVR microcontrollers, signal integrity, and TCP/IP/Ethernet.
Qualifications
- BS in computer or electrical engineering is required.
- Demonstrated experience with at least one microcontroller-based system.
- Experience documenting and communicating design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle with practical input.
- Assist in idea generation and next-generation product development.
- Contribute to system-level architecture design and reviews.
- Evaluate projects and create task breakdowns and manpower estimates.
- Develop schematics, PCBs and assembled products with microprocessors and interfaces.
- Support prototype development and testing activities.
- Develop and maintain test plans and support platforms.
- Collaborate with team through clear communication and meetings.
