Job summary

Milbank Mfg Company in Kansas City, MO is seeking an electrical/electronic engineer to contribute to microcontroller-based product development. You will participate in design, schematic capture, PCB layouts, and system-level reviews, working across disciplines to deliver robust, high‑voltage interfaces.

The role requires a BS in computer or electrical engineering and hands-on experience with MSP430 or AVR microcontrollers, signal integrity, and TCP/IP/Ethernet.

Qualifications

BS in computer or electrical engineering is required.
Demonstrated experience with at least one microcontroller-based system.
Experience documenting and communicating design decisions.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle with practical input.
Assist in idea generation and next-generation product development.
Contribute to system-level architecture design and reviews.
Evaluate projects and create task breakdowns and manpower estimates.
Develop schematics, PCBs and assembled products with microprocessors and interfaces.
Support prototype development and testing activities.
Develop and maintain test plans and support platforms.
Collaborate with team through clear communication and meetings.
