Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our Life Science team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary group delivering design consulting for complex projects.

The successful candidate will learn to design, analyze, and implement electrical systems, prepare documentation, and contribute to project timelines while collaborating with peers across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
0-2 years of experience in industrial / process industries (including internship, co-op, or professional experience).
EIT certification preferred or anticipated.
Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM; SKM and/or ETAP experience is a plus.
Ability to work well within a team, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
Create ‘redline sketches’ for designers and engineers.
Assist in preparing necessary documentation for project needs.
Perform accurate design calculations, and assist in establishing project timelines and task assignments.
