Job summary

Pond & Company seeks an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join the Life Sciences team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will support multidisciplinary design projects and be mentored by a team of engineers to develop HVAC and piping design solutions.

Ideal candidates are graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or ME Technology, and have 0-2 years in engineering or design. In-person interviews and onboarding at a Pond office are standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university.
• 0-2 years of experience in an engineering or design role.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Understanding of applied engineering.
• Experience in HVAC engineering and/or piping design is preferred.
• Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCad and BIM.
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Support multidisciplinary design projects in life sciences under mentoring by experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with a full-service team to deliver design consulting in a fast-paced environment.
