Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our Life Science team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will design, control, and implement electrical systems while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver design consulting.

Mentored by experienced engineers, you will prepare documentation, perform design calculations, and help establish project timelines on a range of projects across industrial environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
• 0-2 years of experience in industrial / process industries (including internship, co-op, or professional experience).
• EIT certification preferred or anticipated.
• Understanding of applied engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM; SKM/ETAP a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
• Create redline sketches for designers and engineers.
• Prepare necessary documentation for project needs.
• Perform accurate and legible design calculations.
• Assist in establishing project timelines and task assignments across multidisciplinary projects.
