Job summary

Amcor, a global leader in responsible packaging, is hiring an Electrical Engineer I in Wisconsin. You will provide electrical engineering support for production operations and drive continuous improvement of controls for machines and equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with maintenance technicians, leading upgrade projects, and learning new capital equipment operations and safety practices. A BSEE degree and up to 2 years in manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• 0–2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar field.
• Electrical Code training or other safety training seminars/courses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as electrical engineering resource to troubleshoot machine control problems with maintenance technicians.
• Manage machine and equipment upgrade projects including investigations, cost estimates, installations, and start-up.
• Support capital upgrade projects and safety initiatives following industry standards (NFPA70E etc.).
• Assist with equipment installation, checkout, start-up and training as necessary.
