Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent
• Awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
• Basic knowledge of production software
• Passion for engineering and willingness to grow and learn
• Solid oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with clients and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Compile data and assist with permit and report preparation and material testing
• Complete elementary design calculations and prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans
• Perform basic design tasks using engineering software and technology
• Prepare drawings and visual aids
• Conduct as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects to understand construction practices and design applications
