Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to design harness assemblies and routing for spacecraft, integrating electronics and power subsystems.

You will create 3D routes, generate wiring diagrams, and coordinate across engineering, program management, production and quality teams to ensure design intent and reliability. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, proficiency with 3D CAD tools, and a willingness to travel up to 20% to support multi-site operations at our CO

YOUR MISSION

True Anomaly is looking for you, a creative and experienced engineer, to develop and design harness assemblies and harness routing on spacecraft and test setups. Designs will interconnect the electronics and power subsystem within the spacecraft. Interconnected systems include power, propulsion, guidance and navigation, data and telemetry. The harnessing design and implementation are a crucial part of the spacecraft system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create 3D harness routes and various electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Generate simple wiring diagrams; understands grounding and shielding principles.
• Interface and coordinate between various team members including engineering, program management, production and quality.
• Analyze harnesses with applicable quality and reliability standards.
• Support production and quality assurance to clear obstacles and ensure build meets design intent.
• Develop BOM’s and work within ERP system for production coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
• Work Location-this role will be onsite at our Long Beach, CA or Centennial, CO locations, with travel between sites as needed.
• Work environment-the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
• Physical demands-the physical demands of the job may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
