Salas O’Brien is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer in the United States to assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components. The position emphasizes CAD work, schematics, and cross-functional collaboration, with potential exposure to simulations and real-world project development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Basic understanding of circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution.
• Internship or co-op experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications.
• Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and testing phases.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
• Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates.
• Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems.
• Provide support during the manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure product quality and performance.
