Job summary

Salas O’Brien in San Jose, CA is seeking an Entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to real‑world projects. You will assist in the design and development of electrical circuits and systems, using CAD tools, and support schematic and layout creation while learning from senior engineers.

You will gain hands‑on experience, participate in testing and validation, and prepare detailed technical documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Altium Designer.
• Fundamental electrical engineering principles including circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
• Internship or co‑op experience in electrical engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software.
• Support development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet electrical design requirements.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis for design integrity.
• Assist testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
