Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineering Graduate to join its Engineer Development Training (EDT) program. You will support senior engineers, learn CAD/BIM practices, and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects while growing technical and professional skills.

The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office hours Monday–Thursday and remote Fridays, plus a competitive salary, benefits, and dedicated mentorship within a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or Architectural Engineering with a graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer of 2027.
• E.I.T. or FE required.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades under the guidance of more senior technical staff.
• Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
• Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments.
