Job summary

Newcomb & Boyd, LLP in Raleigh-Durham, NC is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to design electrical building systems and support project delivery.

The Engineer I will gain exposure to the design, analysis and implementation of MEP-T systems, with primarily office work and occasional site visits. Collaborative, mentorship-driven environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field required.
• EIT certification preferred or in progress; strong candidates encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with Revit and MS Office required; ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical building systems using Revit and related software.
• Perform basic calculations and assist in submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs under supervision.
• Support senior engineers in site visits, documentation, and project coordination.
