Job summary

Inalfa Roof Systems Group seeks an Electrical Engineer I to support development, integration, and maintenance of electronic components for automotive roof system modules. You will develop LabVIEW applications, design EOL test stations, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust testing and validation.

The role involves working with Electrical Engineering to meet motor testing requirements, providing clear documentation, and contributing to cost-reduction efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or blend of education and experience with demonstrated capabilities.
• 2–5 years experience in a technical position within the automotive industry with demonstrated capability to execute duties.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and development of test systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support LabVIEW-based applications for production and laboratory environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-of-line (EOL) test stations for assembly lines.
• Participate in design reviews with equipment suppliers and communicate BOM and specifications.
• Create and maintain diagnostic tools and NVH applications for validation and troubleshooting.
• Provide documentation to Engineering and Manufacturing teams for test systems usage.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on DF/MFA initiatives.
• Implement motor and controller testing requirements in lab and production settings.
• Support Manufacturing and Quality teams in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Deliver test data, interpret results, and develop reporting tools for decision-making.
