Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in McKinney, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering Center. The role focuses on EO/IR, digital, analog, and sustaining electronics, supporting military programs with modern EE tools and processes.

The candidate will contribute to circuit design, verification, and troubleshooting, working closely with engineers and production to implement design improvements and root-cause corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience documenting test results, troubleshooting electrical circuits, and reading schematics.
• Understanding Ethernet, UDP and 1588 protocols.
• Working knowledge of EE lab equipment (VNA, Oscilloscopes, Power M meters, DMMs).
• Familiarity with Matlab, LabVIEW, Keysight ADS, and PCB design tools.

Responsibilities

• EO/IR, digital, analog, sustaining and production electronics support.
• Digital/analog/FPGA design and ASIC/sustainment support.
• Transistor-level analog design for ICs and EO/IR applications.
• Collaborate in detailed circuit design within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop configurable digital logic using VHDL.
• Coordinate with engineering/production to troubleshoot designs and processes.
