Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) seeks an Electrical Engineer I to contribute to the initial phases of research, design, and development of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will assist in designing integrated systems under senior engineers' guidance.

The role supports ISR/Aviation/ Security domains, collaborates with cross-disciplinary teams, and involves testing, documentation, and design reviews. A Secret U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic design and testing principles.
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical/electronic systems.
• Support development of circuit card assemblies.
• Learn implementation of electrical wiring design practices.
• Support the testing and validation of electrical/electronic systems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications are met.
• Document technical designs, test procedures, and results.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and debugging of electrical/electronic circuits and systems.
