Job summary

Aquent seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our data center infrastructure team. You will support the Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager, ensuring electrical scope accuracy, safety, and reliability across design, construction, and commissioning phases.

You will prepare critical deliverables, review vendor quotations, and assist during manufacturing, installation, and troubleshooting with broad exposure to UPS systems, switchgear, and high-density data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineering License strongly preferred.
• Experience in data center infrastructure and electrical design for large facilities.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360) and electrical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve electrical drawings and designs to meet industrial standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager.
• Prepare electrical deliverables: load lists, cable sizing, single-line diagrams.
• Review vendor quotes and support procurement.
• Support construction, site installation, and commissioning activities.
