Qualifications

• 4–8 years in hardware/EE with hands-on component engineering in consumer electronics or wearables.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 4+ years in hardware sustaining, product engineering, or test engineering in consumer electronics or hardware manufacturing.
• Expertise in electronic component engineering: reading datasheets, lifecycle management, selection & qualification.
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence OrCAD, or equivalent).
• Experience with CAD/3D modeling for electromechanical design.
• Strong understanding of component specifications, datasheets, and lifecycle management.
• familiarity with firmware/hardware integration and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of IPC standards for PCB design/manufacturing (IPC-2221/2222, IPC-A-610, IPC-7351, IPC J-STD-001).
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems and change management processes.
• Experience with DFM/DFT principles.
