Job summary

Weastec, Inc. is seeking a design-focused engineer to design, document, and test software and circuits for its electrical products. The role involves embedded software development, hardware design, and hands-on testing at the Hillsboro-area facility.

You will use IDEs and EDA tools to prototype, test, and document specifications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Design, document, and test software and circuits for Weastec electrical products.
• Knowledge of embedded software development and circuit design with IDEs and EDA tools.
• Ability to work independently or in a team to deliver quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software design by utilizing an IDE on a computer to write or make changes to a microcomputer's software.
• Conduct software testing, such as System Testing, Integration Testing, and Unit Testing.
• Create product documentation related to system specification, change documents, and customer requested material.
• Design circuits using EDA tools and test circuits on breadboards.
• Create harness and test jigs for developments.
• Create hardware schematics with the use of design tools.
