Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering team. You will drive design, analysis, integration and test of CCAs and related electrical subsystems for premier aerospace defense programs, collaborating with systems, software, manufacturing and quality partners to meet schedules and standards.

Key duties include schematic capture and PCB layout, electrical testing, root-cause analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or closely related STEM field; Master’s/PhD preferred
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical hardware design
• Experience in aerospace or similar industry hardware design
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics for CCAs

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze CCAs, including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on production hardware
• Develop interconnect solutions—power distribution, grounding, shielding, and mil-spec connectors/cables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges
• Support design reviews and prepare technical documentation
