Position Overview/Duties

Serves aselectrical engineer inaconstruction fieldoffice. Theincumbent isinchargeofallphasesofelectrical installations,inspection testing, and partialcontract administrationofallsystemsandconstruction operations. Provides expertise andservesastechnicaladvisoronelectricalengineering problemsarisingduringconstruction.Contracteditemstypicallyincludesubstations,overheadandunderground distributionsystems,buildingpower and lighting controls, firealarms andelectricalsystems withrelated mechanical systems found inadministrativebuildings, shops,storagefacilities, tacticalequipmentshopsandothertypicalstructures,aswellasenergyconservation projects.Assignments involvemultistory buildings, largeenergy plants,state-of-the-artsolarsystems, hospital, and/or other largeand comparably complex electrical systems forwhich jobistechnically responsible/authoritative.
