Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the greenfield facility build-out in the Raleigh-Durham area, overseeing electrical systems from construction to startup readiness. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands on, field based electrical engineering experience specifically with switchgear and electrical distribution.
• GMP experience required (pharma manufacturing).
• Exposure to both GMP and non-GMP environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner’s rep for electrical systems, ensuring construction deliverables meet design intent.
• Lead/participate in system handoffs from construction to CQV.
• Drive closure of punch list and turnover deficiencies.
• Focus on medium/low voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, and power distribution panels.
• Ensure systems are installed, tested, and documented properly for startup readiness.
• Review and approve turnover packages, test documentation, and change controls to ensure GMP compliance.
• Partner with CQV to support commissioning activities and IQ/OQ readiness.
• Bridge communication gaps between engineering design, field execution, and end users.
