Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Power Stations on a remote contract basis. The role is 10–20 hours per week with an immediate start, focusing on review and design of power station electrical systems.

You will assess protection/controls, switchgear, and power distribution; ensure compliance with standards, and communicate findings clearly while working independently.

Qualifications

• Current or recent hands-on electrical engineering experience at a power station, power generation facility, or substation.
• Circuit design depth in protection and controls, switchgear, and power distribution.
• Experience at a company that builds or delivers power plants, such as an EPC contractor, power generation developer, utility, or owner engineering group.
• Resume must clearly show the employer, the facility, and your own electrical scope of work.
