Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Power Stations in a remote capacity. The role focuses on review of power station electrical systems, including circuit and control design, switchgear, protection, and power distribution.

You will verify calculations, data, and compliance, flag issues, and deliver concise technical findings to support project feasibility and safety. The position is contract-based, requiring 10–20 hours per week with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical engineering experience at a power station, power generation facility, or substation.
• Circuit design depth in protection and controls, switchgear, and power distribution.
• Experience at a company that builds or delivers power plants (EPC, developer, utility, or owner engineering).
• Resume must clearly show your employer, facility, and electrical scope of work.
