Mercor is seeking Electrical & Hardware Engineering Experts for a remote, contract position. You will apply hands-on hardware and RF engineering expertise to complex tasks and help review designs and workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in hardware development, direct ownership of major hardware workflows, and deep knowledge of RF systems, power electronics, analog/mixed-signal design, PCB architecture, and signal integrity. Strong communication and problem solving are essential.

Position: Electrical & Hardware Engineering Experts

Type: Contract Compensation: $100–$120/hour Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

Qualifications – Must-Have

• 5+ years of professional industry experience, including 3 years of recent hands-on experience in hardware development.
• Direct experience as the responsible engineer for substantial hardware development workflows.
• Expertise in RF systems , Power Electronics , Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design , PCB Architecture , or Signal Integrity .
• Strong understanding of engineering constraints like component selection and system integration.
• Experience debugging hardware using laboratory equipment and simulation tools.
• Ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly.

Qualifications – Preferred

• Experience with companies that design and manufacture physical hardware products .
