Job summary

CM Mission Critical Engineering, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop highly detailed construction drawings and specifications for mission‑critical facilities. You will perform complex electrical calculations and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver precise engineering solutions.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 0–7 years of design experience, and preferably an E.I.T. certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• E.I.T. certification is preferred but not required.
• PE certification or active licensure pursuit is a plus.
• Experience in mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or similar environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution for medium‑ and low‑voltage systems.
• Develop lighting system design including photometric analysis and fixture selection.
• Design emergency/standby power systems including generators and UPS.
• Perform load calculations, panel schedules and equipment sizing.
• Conduct NEC, NFPA, IBC and local code analyses.
• Perform engineering studies including fault current analysis, coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, and Neher‑McGrath calculations.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and low‑voltage disciplines.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and construction‑phase documentation.
• Participate in internal QA/QC processes to ensure deliverable accuracy.
