Electrical Engineer - Food & Beverage

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer dedicated to revolutionizing the Food & Beverage industry in Wallingford! In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative electrical solutions for state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will drive large‑scale projects from concept to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams in an exciting and fast‑paced environment committed to excellence.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET‑accredited program
• Minimum of 3 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and procedures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD and analysis software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to perform field inspections and measurements
• Familiarity with project documentation, drawings, and client presentations

Nice to Have Skills

• Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT)
• Experience with large‑scale industrial or manufacturing facilities
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D rendering programs
• Prior experience in food and beverage industry projects
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Additional consulting experience in healthcare, industrial, or governmental projects

Other Requirements

• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
• Ability to work methodically, collaboratively, and in a detail‑oriented manner
• Willingness to travel as required
