Job summary

LongPath Technologies in Boulder, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy electrical subsystems for our laser sensors used in emissions monitoring. This hands-on role offers ownership over hardware from concept through field deployment on outdoor towers and remote sites.

You will work with analog and digital circuits, RF below 1 GHz, low-noise conditioning, and robust PCB design while collaborating across engineering disciplines to improve reliability and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and debugging hardware.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document electrical systems from initial requirements through field deployment.
• Design analog and digital circuitry, including low-noise signal conditioning and RF below 1 GHz.
• Perform schematic capture, component selection, PCB design, layout, bring-up, and characterization.
• Troubleshoot hardware and field failures and drive improvements into future designs.
• Improve reliability of outdoor and tower-mounted systems, including grounding, surge protection, and power interfaces.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to transition designs from prototype to deployed hardware.
