Job summary

TWD is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer for our Pittsburgh, PA office. You will contribute to planning, design, engineering, and delivery of electrical systems for energy and infrastructure projects, working with engineers, PMs, clients, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities include calculations, design reviews, documentation, field support, and coordination across disciplines. This role offers growth toward greater responsibility within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Junior level: <3 years experience; Intermediate level: 4–9 years experience.
• Experience in energy, power, utilities, industrial or infrastructure sectors preferred.
• Professional Engineer license or progress toward licensure preferred for certain responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering calculations, analysis, and design for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review electrical system designs, drawings, equipment specs, and documentation.
• Support design of distribution, power systems, grounding, lighting, controls for project requirements.
• Coordinate designs with civil, structural, mechanical, process and other disciplines.
• Provide field and client support during construction, commissioning and site visits.
• Contribute to project estimates, schedules, and scope development.
