Job summary

TWD is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Designer in Pittsburgh, PA to contribute to the development and delivery of electrical design documentation for energy and infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate, code-compliant designs, drawings, layouts, and documentation across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Intermediate level: 4–9 years of relevant electrical design or drafting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings, layouts, details, schematics, schedules, and related documentation for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and revise electrical drawings in accordance with project requirements, codes, standards and design practices.
• Support the design of electrical distribution, power, lighting, grounding, controls, and related systems as applicable to project requirements.
• Incorporate engineering calculations, design criteria, equipment information, and technical specifications into design documents.
• Review drawings and design documents for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and consistency.
