Job summary

Faith Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Level 1 to perform basic electrical power, lighting, and low voltage system engineering tasks for electrical construction projects under supervision. Strong AutoCAD/Revit knowledge and familiarity with electrical terminology and IECC are required.

Education includes a Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (Electrical) or an Associate in Electrical Technology; 4 years of progressive electrical engineering experience and NEC

Qualifications

• Familiarity with electrical terminology and symbols.
• Knowledge of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).
• Proficiency in PC use and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and studies technical drawings and electrical specifications to meet standards and customer needs.
• Conducts field surveys and analyzes data to identify and fix power system problems.
• Operates computer‑assisted engineering/design software to perform tasks.
• Performs detailed calculations to establish construction standards and specifications under supervision.
• Plans layout of electrical construction projects with guidance from a senior engineer.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Electrical Engineer - Level 1 is responsible for performing basic electrical power, lighting, and/or low voltage system engineering tasks for electrical construction projects, under the direct supervision of an upper level Engineer, Senior Electrical Designer, or Engineering Team Leader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is required, knowledge of electrical terminology and symbols is required, and knowledge of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) is necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering - Electrical
• Education: Associate Degree in Electrical Technology
• Experience: 4 years of progressive electrical engineering related and National Electric Code (NEC) knowledge
• Preferred experience with AutoDesk Inventor
• Travel: 5-10%
• Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and studies technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
• Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications, with direction from an upper-level Engineer.
• Plans layout of electrical construction projects with direction from an upper level Engineer.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
