Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or PE) is required.
• Staff: 2 years related engineering experience (half-rate for non-Engineer experience).
• Senior: 5 years related engineering experience (3 years as Engineer, up to 2 years non-Engineer).</n>

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering analysis for small/routine projects, including preliminary design, calculation, life cycle cost and equipment selection.
• Prepare and interpret schematics, drawings, layouts and other visual aids.
• Supports safety programs and adherence to design standards.
• Assists upper level engineers while developing specialized skills.
• Reviews changes to engineering standards and guidelines.
• Ensures design specs conform to latest codes and practices.
• Conducts field surveys to gather data.
• Reviews development plans for compliance with standards.
• Provides on-the-job training to new staff.
• Manages multiple projects, budgets, schedules and resources.
