Jacobs in Irvine seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in energy and power to deliver feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight for energy projects from concept through to full execution.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, developing design calculations, drawings and specs, with a PE or PE-hope within 1 year preferred; there is a hybrid work policy and a base salary range of $116,400 to $203,600.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience.
• Ability to develop design calculations, construction drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents and construction oversight for energy projects.
• Develop concept-level plans and solutions and take them through detailed design to full execution.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and clients to deliver end-to-end energy solutions.
• Communicate effectively and solve problems.
