Job summary

Amentum seeks an Electrical Engineer to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia. The role focuses on energy management, BAS monitoring, and power distribution oversight.

The candidate will analyze energy usage, respond to alarms, collaborate with the Kings Bay Energy Manager, and pursue energy-cost reductions. Requires degree and energy management experience; CEM preferred; eligibility for Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical/energy management with 2 years' energy management experience, or 6 years energy management/HVAC experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, trend graphs, and service manuals; knowledge of BAS.
• Knowledge of BAS systems: Trane Ensemble, Johnson Controls, SCADA.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Energy Management and BAS; run trend reports and track energy usage.
• Respond to industrial alarms using written procedures.
• Collaborate with Kings Bay Energy Manager to improve BAS efficiency and reduce energy costs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy costs and optimize environmental set points.
• Interface with internal/external customers to satisfy utility demands.
• May work hours outside normal work schedule.
