Cindavi in Madison, WI seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the design and implementation of electrical systems for a state-of-the-art medical isotope production facility. This role offers ownership across all phases from design through commissioning and start-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in low-voltage power engineering design.
• Working knowledge of NEC, Life Safety Code, Building Codes, IEEE standards, and IEC standards.
• Hands-on experience with conduits, cable trays, cable selection, terminal/connection drawings, panels, and panel design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications, calculations, drawings, and test plans for design, construction, testing, commissioning, and operation.
• Partner with Procurement to source and qualify electrical equipment.
• Provide oversight and guidance to contract engineers and engineers of record for power supply systems.
• Support Construction by processing RFIs, engineering change requests, and work package reviews, and reviewing submittals.
• Work with AHJs to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
