A leading medical technology firm in Rockford is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage the design and implementation of electrical systems for a medical isotope production facility. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership while overseeing all phases of electrical engineering, from initial design through to commissioning. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience, contributing your expertise to critical healthcare infrastructure in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in low-voltage power engineering design.
Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
Hands-on experience with conduits, cable selection, and panel design.
Responsibilities
Prepare specifications and calculations to support design and construction.
Partner with Procurement to qualify electrical equipment.
Provide oversight to contract engineers for power supply systems.
Support Construction by processing RFIs and engineering changes.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
Skills
