Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, or an active SECRET clearance preferred.
• 5+ years of circuit design and CAD layout experience (Altium Designer, OrCAD, PADS).
• 5+ years of detailed design and prototyping of electronic components.
• Knowledge of electronics fabrication and assembly.
• Familiarity with basic configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Identify engineering challenges and recommend component and/or system designs to solve them.
• Design, prototype, and test system components in collaboration with project leads and team members.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to integrate prototype components into full-scale engineering prototype systems.
• Contribute to component-level and system-level testing throughout development.
• Conduct research and testing to understand and correct design/manufacturing flaws.
• Develop and maintain design and manufacturing documentation and procedures.
• Mentor early-career electrical engineers on the team.
