Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical support for electrical systems in elevator components. You will review schematics, manage BOMs, and coordinate changes across global supply chains, ensuring clear communication of requirements for successful design execution.

The role involves interpreting diagrams, using CAD tools, and developing knowledge repositories for component design and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of code agencies (CSA, UL, etc.) preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile Change Management environment preferred.
• Understanding of general electrical engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review design documentation and models from R&D and provide feedback for manufacturing.
• Prepare manufacturing BOM and manufacturing documentation.
• Participate in product change implementation in Supply Chain per schedule.
• Serve as primary technical product support for manufacturing locally and globally.
• Support Product Owner in requirements planning through design.
