Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong leadership to help grow our Dallas market and expand our footprint into Austin. The role focuses on delivering electrical design services that meet client expectations and comply with codes, while mentoring engineers-in-training and collaborating with the electrical team.

You will lead power, lighting, communications, and life safety design, engage with clients to align goals, and participate in site visits to ensure design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• EIT or PE licensed Electrical Engineer.
• Proven ability to lead, organize, and manage projects.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients and build trusting relationships.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours as deadlines require.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with clients to identify project goals and deadlines.
• Engineer power, lighting, communications, and life safety for assigned projects.
• Mentor engineers-in-training and collaborate with the electrical design team.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and industry standards.
• Attend onsite visits with construction administration to verify progress.
