Job summary

CMTA is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Dallas, TX market to help shape our expansion while supporting projects in Austin as needed. You will provide electrical design services, advise on complex solutions, and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

You will mentor engineers-in-training, collaborate with the design team, and build strong relationships with clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
3+ years of relevant experience.
EIT or PE licensed Electrical Engineer.
Proven ability to maintain professionalism and organization.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and build trusting client relationships.

Responsibilities

Proactively communicate with clients to identify project goals and meet deadlines.
Mentor engineers-in-training and collaborate with the electrical team.
Engineer power, lighting, communications, and life safety for projects.
Attend onsite visits with construction administration to monitor progress.
Maintain project budget and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and quality results.
