Job summary

BLOX LLC is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the MEP team within a dynamic, rapid-growth environment. You will lead electrical system design for multiple projects under the DMC methodology, coordinating with engineers, architects, and constructors to achieve efficient on-site assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering and experience in facility Electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 99, and related electrical design standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Punctual and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, detail, and support installation of facility Electrical systems to meet client’s requirements in both large and small projects.
• Perform Electrical system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, coordinating with engineers, project managers, and construction professionals.
• Analyze Electrical systems to optimize performance, safety, and efficiency (arc flash, illumination, energy performance).
• Support production including manufacturing design, computer modeling, fabrication, testing, and implementation.
• Communicate with customers and partners to understand requirements, goals, and implementation feasibility.
• Evaluate design drawings & specifications per quality regulations.
• Assist in CAD/Revit modeling and ensure project schedule compliance.
• Collaborate with installers to improve quality and efficiency of design implementation.
• Support project leader in coordinating managers, engineers, drafters, and manufacturing personnel.
