Job summary

BLOX is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to support the MEP team in delivering modular healthcare facilities across multiple states. You will design electrical systems, perform distribution studies, and model project elements for fast, high-quality construction.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, architects, and builders in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Relevant experience with 3D modeling and national codes is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling software, especially Revit.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet deadlines and deliver quality work.

Responsibilities

• Design facility Electrical systems to meet client requirements in projects.
• Perform facility electrical distribution system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, collaborating with team engineers, architects, and detailers to model elements into a cohesive facility model.
• Perform calculations and analysis of electrical systems and equipment (load, sizing, circuit protection, illumination).
• Layout communications and alarm systems and design single-line diagrams.
• Support production of projects including manufacturing design, modeling, and detailing of work scopes.
• Generate and maintain models used for permitting documents, manufacturing drawings, and field shop drawings.
• Perform quality checks on own work and participate in design reviews for compliance with codes.
• Collaborate with installers and vendors to improve quality, flow, and efficiency of design implementation.
