Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our MEP team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential facilities within a collaborative team environment.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency (Revit preferred) and EIT is preferred or on track to obtain. Salary ranges from $77,000 to $97,000 with a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of building electrical systems design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or on track to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to the design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and construction documents.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with project teams.
• Perform field surveys and assist with construction administration.
• Apply applicable codes and standards to design work.
