Job summary

Mussett Nicholas & Associates is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer to support development, design, and implementation of electrical solutions for diverse clients in the Raleigh area.

You will collaborate across departments and external suppliers, contribute to design, testing, and documentation, and travel up to 10% as needed. A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required, with experience in commercial/industrial projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Experience designing for commercial/industrial environments.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools or Visual Lighting.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design from concept to completion for electrical projects.
• Review design for compliance with standards and codes.
• Translate requirements into detailed designs and coordinate across departments.
• Support all phases of engineering testing responsibilities and deliverables.
• Prepare technical presentations for stakeholders.
• Perform field inspections as needed.
• Provide mentoring to team members and stay updated on developments.
• Travel up to 10% with occasional overnight travel.
