Job summary

I.A. Naman + Associates, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks an Electrical Engineer to research, design, and develop electrical distribution and lighting systems for MEP projects.

You will lead design tasks and collaborate with engineers and staff to ensure quality outcomes. Qualified candidates have a 4-year electrical engineering degree, 3–4 years in MEP design, and TX PE status or active pursuit; BIM skills with Revit/AutoCAD are highly desirable, along with strong communication and office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 3–4 years of experience in MEP design and electrical systems.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas or in process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD tools (Revit/AutoCAD).
• Research codes, standards, and client specs to determine feasibility of design.
• Develop electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm plans and diagrams for projects.
