Job summary

Kress Corporation in Brimfield, IL seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead coordination and execution of simple to moderately complex design projects. You will provide technical information to colleagues and support departments while driving electrical system design and integration.

The role requires a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree, 2–3 years of designer experience, and familiarity with automotive/heavy equipment electronics. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year Electrical Engineering Degree is required.
• 2-3 years Electrical Designer experience preferred.
• Computer programming experience preferred.
• Mobile equipment electrical system experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineering projects including electrical system design and wiring harness design.
• Development of new products or expansion of current product line and preparation of objectives and specifications.
• Create or modify electrical schematics for projects.
• Make calculations to determine size and safety of electrical components.
• Maintain records of projects and provide engineering data for sales.
