Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering in Lancaster, PA is seeking a licensed Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design of electrical and power distribution systems for a diverse project portfolio including higher education, light industrial and commercial buildings.

The candidate will supervise engineers, coordinate with clients, vendors, and the project team; perform advanced design with AutoCAD/Revit and ensure timely delivery with the highest quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required or related field.
• FE/EIT certification preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking a licensed Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Lancaster, PA. You will be responsible for leading the design process for electrical and power distribution systems for a diverse project portfolio that includes higher education, light industrial and other commercial building projects.

Requirements/Responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.
• Assist with lighting, power and signal calculations.
• Design and document lighting, power, security and telecom systems.
• Assist with power studies such as Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools.
• Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.
• Work with clients, vendors and contractors on a limited basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
• RequirementsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Electrical/Lighting or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• FE/EIT Certification is highly preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit software platforms; Microsoft Office Suite.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
