Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, including system analysis, system architecture, equipment support, test and evaluation, and logistics for C4ISR or similar requirements.
• Lead research and development programs for the Department of Defense, applying unconventional or novel approaches and advanced techniques.
• Make independent decisions on R&D engineering problems and coordinate work.
• Apply advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices across intelligence, architecture, applications, and mission integration functional areas.
• Oversee functional area leads who possess at least five years of extensive experience, background, and knowledge in their respective areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment for C4ISR or similar requirements.
• TS/SCI security clearance.
• At least seven (7) years supporting DoD R&D programs.
• Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning, and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions on R&D engineering problems, resolve important questions, and plan and coordinate work.
• Experience with advanced techniques in the four functional areas: Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration.
• At least three (3) years of experience working in DARPA or a similar organization is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 - $250,000 per year. Specific compensation will be determined by experience, education, skills, and knowledge. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k) contribution.
