Job summary

SPG, a large manufacturer in Kingsport, TN, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical control systems, equipment, and medium voltage power systems. The role focuses on hardware and software design for capital projects and close collaboration with maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

You will design and implement PLCs, HMIs, and AC/DC drives, while contributing to project initiatives across the maintenance team. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

BSEE required for the role.
Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and drives (AC/DC).

Responsibilities

Support electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and medium voltage power systems.
Design hardware and software for new projects, including PLCs, HMIs, and AC/DC drives.
Collaborate with the Maintenance department on capital project initiatives.
